Flagship Projects

NECTEC has initiated program-based researches in the next 3 years period (2008-2010). Those three flagships are “Digitized Thailand”, “Smart Health” and “Smart Farm”. The main objective of the flagship programs is to drive NECTEC's research works into applications in relevant real sector of Thai economy. The flagship strategy will ensure our direction to apply E-C-T-I technology into nation's problems.

Digitized Thailand

The concept of Digitized Thailand is to create and organize the national information and archives especially in art and culture into digital form to preserve and provide accessibility to Thai people and to support national policy to drive the country into creative economy.

Smart Health

The concept of Smart Health is to using IT as an important tool to facilitate the implementation of National Health Policy of Thailand more efficiently and effectively. The early stage of implementation is to develop the standardization of the national heath information system which will be utilized by all concerned health organizations in the country.

Smart Farm

The concept of Smart Farm is to apply IT and electronics technologies in agricultural sector which rather conventional in order to amplify the productivity and quality of agricultural products and ultimately raise up the quality of living of farmers and maintain the ranking of main food exporter of the world.

Highlight Products

Magneto Transistor

This device inspects or measures the magnetic field. It is produced with the semiconductor technology and is designed to have the uncomplicated structure of transistor.

ISFET

This product is newly developed to substitute the previous glass bulb sensor. This sensor is made from silicon and designed to have the structure of ISFET.

CMOS

This type of products includes all circuits that are made from CMOS silicon. This kind of circuit has been widely used to the extent where we can say that 90 percent of the manufactured semiconductor circuits in the industry are appliances or circuits that consist of CMOS silicon.
