Background

1. Abstract

Research and Development in currently are one of the most significance to create the innovation product for industries. Emphasizing on the value-added and the uniqueness of the product and avoiding the price competitiveness are needed for new products in the business market while the Thai labour cost is higher in trendy.

The government agency pays attention to the importance of Technology Research and Development as well. Funding to feed the R&D agency such as University, Research Institute including of NECTEC (National Electronics and Computer Technology Center) is to gain the competitiveness in industries. But for Thai R&D still have the complicated and barrier to gain the product value-added applying for Thai industries because of any problems.

For any reasons, more gap between Technologies and Industries, less chance to pass on knowledges from NECTEC to Industries each year. Lacking of product quality, in the customer point-of-view, is effected and finally will be impact to the social and economic to be unclearly as well.

Industrial Prototype and Product Development Laboratory (IPP) acts as the bridge between technologies developer and production industries. To be the most efficiency, the laboratory operation should be Technology Push and Demand Pull to go together.
