AlignBracket3D : Software for Aided Orthodontic Diagnosis and Treatment Planning on 3D Digital Models.

AlignBracket3D® is a windows-based 3D computer graphic aided planning software for  orthodontic diagnosis and treatment which allows users to perform the setup of 3D digital model by the tools provided in this software.  AlignBracket3D® has been designed for dental clinicians to prepare the digital treatment plan through the segmentation tool to separate the individual tooth on the dental cast.  The software allows user to rearrange each tooth in either semi-automatic or customized way to align all the teeth along the selected arch form.  Clinicians can adjust bracket position and final tooth position.  The results will be shown as 3D post-orthodontic treatment simulation, applicable for a treatment guideline preview for patients.  This program is also a training tool for orthodontists and students to enhance planning experience through the orthodontic simulation before taking the actual treatment.  Furthermore, AlignBracket3D®  would be able to reverse the bracket positions on the aligned teeth back to the original tooth positions as well.  Therefore, the clinicians will be able to see the whole orthodontic treatment simulation through the tooth movement from the original to aligned teeth which provide the clinician a possibility for creating customized solutions in orthodontic treatment.
