ABSTRACT -- Low-latency communication system is crucial for the performance of parallel application on Beowulf cluster systems since its reduced the overhead of important operation such as barrier synchronization. This paper presents our work on the design and development of Myrinet driver for DP, low latency communication system in cluster environment. This driver allows user to exploit DP capability on fast message transmission on Myrinet network. This driver is implemented as a loadable kernel module, which can be load or unload without modifying or recompiling the OS kernel. The performance has been measure and clearly shows the good improvement over traditional UDP transmission.
